| Introduction | Ezekiel 16:4-6,8-9 When I was writhing in my sin, the Lord took pity upon me. He saw that I was an orphan. Before I knew His Name, before I loved Him, the Lord loved me. The Father rescued me. Through the life & death & resurrection of His Son, the Father betrothed me to Jesus Christ. He granted me repentance unto life. God gave me saving faith. I am His. He is mine. My Lord has given me a commission & it is both my duty & honor to serve Him with glad-hearted obedience. For He has not required of me what I could not do. He broke the power of sin & guilt. He took the penalty for my sin & shame upon Himself. The Lord gave me His own Spirit by grace that I might love & serve Him as I ought. Blessed be the Name of the Lord, I follow the Lamb.
