| Introduction | Rodney G. Miller’s critically acclaimed writing includes his book on persuasive language styles–named Reviewer’s Choice at Midwest Book Review by senior reviewer Diane Donovan. Research is at The Communication Institute, an independent organisation advancing research and application. An editorial board member of the journal "Media and Language" at Sofia University, he is published by the State University of New York Press and The Royal Society of Queensland. Currently member of Court, the governing body of Heriot Watt University. Other service on governing and advisory boards includes foundations affiliated with higher education institutions, a schools collaborative, a government ministerial advisory committee and peak industry organisations. Prior to leading the advancement of innovative education for universities in the United States and internationally, he taught communication at Queensland University of Technology, founding and for over a decade editing "Australian Journal of Communication." |
