| Introduction | I am a typical wife and mother ~ busy with family, work and our family run farm. I work in child welfare, spending my days helping children find forever families (foster care adoption). I spend my afternoons working on our family run farm. This involves everything from daily farm chores, to creating products from our animals (I spin yarn from alpaca fiber and make knit products from that). I also run, on average 20 miles per week. Running and the tranquil feeling on our farm is what helps me keep my sanity. I used to be overweight but in 2003 I changed my lifestyle in order to live a healthy and active life. It's still a journey but it's a healthy one. |
