Try making up the rules to a game where you tie knots in a yo-yo string just to see if you can get them out:
Ie one end of the string to something. Make a loop and give it a half turn, back the lead sting through the loop to from a second loop, repeat indefinitel with each new look. Whe you tire of this, pull the lead of the string. All loops disappear and young children are amazed at how you can untie the "knots" so easily
