Introduction	The National EMS Association (NEMSA) is a registered Labor Union and California Not-For-Profit association that represents EMS Professionals around the USA. NEMSA is the only 100% EMS union in the United States. NEMSA is not affiliated with any "big-tent" unions like IAEP, SEIU, Teamsters, or others and thus pays no affiliation fees. Instead NEMSA is a registered not-for-profit. Strict rules require NEMSA to manage itself in an efficient and effective way. Independent observers have claimed NEMSA has the best EMS contracts for private EMS workers in the USA. NEMSA offers superior, aggressive, and fair representation to it's members. Labor contracts are negotiated by an experienced labor attorney and member-led teams.
