IntroductionFrancisco Rodrigues is a Professor of Complex Systems and Data Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC), University of São Paulo (USP), where he heads the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics. He is a researcher in network science, data science, and complex systems, and has authored over 150 papers, earning more than 10,000 citations (h-index 40). He is an editor for several prestigious journals, including Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, and New Journal of Physics. Francisco's research spans epidemic models, machine learning, and social dynamics, with applications in epidemiology, neuroscience, and climate science.
