Introduction	My name is Kari Martz and I am a first grade teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Interior Design in 2006 and worked in the field for five years. After needing a change in my life to seek a way and to fulfill my inner yearning to "make a difference" in the world I began working as a Teacher's Aide and went back to school to get my Teaching Credential and my Master's Degree in Teaching from The University of San Francisco. I have been teaching first grade since 2011.
