Political Communication--A CSU Perspective

Introduction	After receiving my bachelor’s degree in political science at Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania, I then went on to attain both my masters and Ph.D. in mass communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Go Badgers! I’m originally from New York City and love living in Cleveland. From the fine museums and cultural life to the wide variety of restaurants to the many summer festivals, there is always something fun and exciting to do. I often think that native Clevelanders don’t appreciate all this city has to offer. I’m a big news and entertainment junkie, which helps when I am teaching courses about mass media. I’m particularly fascinated by the reality TV phenomenon and have found myself more than once sucked into a TV show that, in retrospect, was certainly a giant waste of time. Such is the power of TV, huh?
