Introduction	My name is Mary-Kate. I hail from the Emerald Isle. I am an Irish-Scottish hybrid with an odd accent. I have lived in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, America, France and England thus the odd accent! I love to do impressions of people and somewhere along the way I was left with my friends accents and this is why my accent is now so skewed. You gotta laugh! I sit and write whatever comes into my head. Sometimes within a minute of sitting (you can probably tell that sometimes...!) I try and edit them after I have written the poems. My inspiration comes from death, love, heartbreak, betrayal, birth, change... Basically whatever comes into my mind. Not always about someone as sometimes it could be a meme Ive seen that I like and that gives me motivation to write.
