| Introduction | I am Muhammad Fatuhu Mustapher. I was born in 1972 in Kano State, Nigeria. I graduated from the Department of Political Science, Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria in 2002. I currently work at the National Assembly, Senate Committee Division. Although primarily a political scientist, my academic interests include Islamic history, Hausa cultural studies, especially poetics and Philosophy.
