| Introduction | I am a solicitor by profession. You may have heard about lawyers constantly being Wined 'n' Dined but sad to say it isn't true. Far from it! Virtually all my lunches are eaten at my desk, facing the computer, reading over papers and poring over cases. Having a sandwich every day is boring. Added to that, I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease in 2009 so I can't eat anything with gluten in it - including bread. On top of that, I am an ovo-lacto vegetarian. Nipping out for a gluten free, vegetarian, non-sandwich lunch is virtually impossible so I rely on a packed lunch. Salads seemed to be the mainstay but then a friend introduced me to BENTO BOXES and since then, lunches have never been the same since. This blog is therefore a record of the Legal Lunches at my desk. I hope they inspire. |
