| Introduction | There are many things that inspire me to create and I love the challenge of learning something new. I find patterns complicating so I gave up on them a long time ago. This blog journals my creativity and inspirations. I hope that I can inspire you too! |
| Interests | Beading, Quilting, Knitting,Scrapbooking, Dollmaking-you name it! Just as long as it keeps me busy. I also enjoy bonfires, vegetable gardening, perusing antique shops and fleamarkets and yard sales. I love looking at model homes but rarely have the time do do this. I love all things old and treasure heirlooms. |
| Favorite movies | I really like period pieces especially when they have full on regalia costumes. They are terrific for inspiration. Otherwise I enjoy movies that have good cinematography showing location shots and architecture of a country or region. |
| Favorite music | I listen to all genre of music depending on my mood and on what I am doing. My "white noise" music is typically classical jazz or lounge but when I clean it's got to be the latest pop hits-and I have to play it LOUD! In my car I usually have some kind of world music playing but when I want to sing (all windows closed) I put on a good country tune! |
| Favorite books | I enjoy a good mystery and try to keep up with the recent bestsellers. However, I really love books by Jean Auel and Tolkien. One of my most favorite authors is Paulo Coelho (in English) and of course, Dr. Seuss! My all time favorite book is The Lorax. |
