| Introduction | I started this craft when I was about 21 - 22 years old. I had seen the craft in action once before, on the Detroit People Mover when I was a teen. These ladies, sitting in the back with their bags and some string being pulled from it. It was a sight that sparked my want to learn how to do it. Granted, I didn’t learn until some years later, it’s become a calming staple in my life. It has grown with me since learning it. Then I was given the opportunity to learn a bit while visiting Germany. That’s where the skill became practical for me. I started practicing it and here I am years later, unable to forget the magic I can create using yarn. |
