Interests	I'm a retired Bayesian Statistician, writer, historian and poet. I was formerly a Professor of Statistics at the Universities of Wisconsin-Madison and Edinburgh, I'm interested in mental health reform, I have moderated the group Facebook page Mental Health Discussions Edinburgh since 2015 I'm writing about the History of Eugenics, I am Attention Deficit and Neurodiverse, I attend Broughton St, Mary Church. I speak out in support of the LGBT community and against transphobia and child abuse. I recently gave expert witness evidence to the Commission of Inquiry into the History of Eugenics at UCL with my historical colleague Scott Forster.
