| Introduction | This blog began as a record of my journey, and, though the destination has changed, it continues to serves that function. I moved to Denmark for the man I thought I would marry. Things fell apart and I returned to the U.S. Stubbornness had me return to Denmark on my own, and when things began to crumble beneath my feet, I came back to my hometown yet again. This time, I was looked upon it with new eyes, eyes that were able to appreciate the things I had always taken for granted. A great deal of my view of the world is based upon the principles of taoism, and it often bleeds into my writing. Simply put, this is an account of a humble soul trying to find herself, the story of the difference it makes to choose adventure over resignation. |
