| Introduction | I'm a member of Open Circle Church and was invited by Liberal Pastor to join his blog after enjoying his posts and supporting his efforts by posting comments. I'm on the journey of life and faith along with my family and friends--and I suppose equally as importantly--with billions of people all around the world. I try to love God as I experience God in the people and world around me. I also try hard to treat others as I would want to be treated. As a part of our journey my husband and I (and 2 children) joined Open Circle in November 2004. Dana Carvey's skits on Saturday Nite Live always made me laugh. ProgressiveChurchlady seemed the natural blogname for me because I met Liberal Pastor through activities with The Center for Progressive Christianity. I need to be reminded not to take myself too seriously but to laugh at myself and others and have to fun on the journey! |
