Introduction	I am a 7th grade English teacher in Baltimore, MD. During graduate school, I studied journalism and communication, and the effects of mass media on culture fascinate me. My experiences constantly reinstate my belief that mass media perpetuates white supremacy, which adheres to the continued existence of sexism, classism, and racism. I believe we can combat all three on a individual level, which is why I created this blog.
