| Introduction | I'm a former Baseball Coach and am now an Umpire. I coached different youth levels for over 15 years and I've been umpiring everything from Little League to travel/rep ball (11 to 18 years old) since 1997. I got into umpring when my league was short on umpires, and I quickly learned how much I didn’t know about the rules while I was coaching. I kept taking more courses, and I have now given up coaching to have more time available to umpiring. I have created a blog and website to help educate other coaches on some of the misunderstood Baseball rules, and show them how they can get an edge over their competition by learning these. |
