| Introduction | I earned a Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Iowa, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of California, Irvine. I've taught for 15 years in the state of Iowa, working with students ranging in ages from preschool through 8th grade. Additionally, I am an adjunct faculty member at a private Liberal Arts University. I have spent many summers studying a variety of music teaching methods, including Kodály, Dalcroze, and World Music Drumming, and have successfully completed Levels I, II, and III, as well as two Master Classes, in the Orff-Schulwerk philosophy. I recently finished serving as a Regional Representative to the National Board of Trustees of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association. |
