| Introduction | I am a man's man, a warrior. I have 5 combat tours under my belt, and it's only by the grace of God that I write this today. No girly man here; I swear too much and regret it afterwards; I like only Corona wih a Roses Lime Juice topper, and I really do not like 90% of humanity. I am very distrustful of the internet; I am a very private gentleman, an INTJ. I don't get into the woods nearly enough, but I love bowhunting with a burning passion and I have a similar need to bring bowhunting to those who follow in my bowhunting-bad-news-bears footsteps, those who are trying hard, voraciously reading the vast aray of fodder out there, wondering what they are doing wrong, frustrated, but loving the struggle so much they will never give up. Whatever I know about bowhunting I taught myself; I voraciusly read, I listened to self proclaimed experts whose simplistic self ego-inflating bullshit made me feel inadequate. But I asked, I listened, I tried, I failed, I kept trying, I learned in snippets. And I am still a novice, still painfully discovering the secrets of the woods and the swamp, still trying hard |
