| Introduction | Yoseli was born in the Dominican Republic in 1972, and at the age of 16 migrated to the United States. She holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Spanish Literature. Her poems and short stories have appeared in numerous publications. She is a bilingual-dominican-latina-lesbian-poet-activist-teacher-aunt. Since 2005 she has been organizing the Gay & Lesbian Bohemian Night, an LGBTQ Open Mic in Washington Heights. Yoseli nacio en la Republica Dominicana en 1972. Emigro a los Estados Unidos a los 16 anios. Posee una Licenciatura en psicologia y una Maestria en Filosofia y Letras. Sus cuentos y poemas han sido publicados en varias antologias. Es poeta-maestra-tia-activista-lesbiana-dominicana-latina y mucho mas. Desde agosto 2005 organiza la Noche Bohemia, una tertulia artistica LGBTQ en Washington Heights. |
