| Introduction | I'm a teacher at Lake Ridge Middle School. This year I teach 6th grade Science/Math with a team mate. We are a "New Tech" school now, with a PBL platform. The last few years I taught 7th grade reading. Many "don't like to read" and I that they'll get turned on believe that I was able to turn them onto the kind of reading that can be fun! I allowed them to choose their own free read books. Some days are exhausting, others fly by! Every day brings something new! |
| Interests | I really enjoy photography and travel, as well as spending time with my husband and kids. |
| Favorite movies | I enjoyed "It's Complicated!" and "The Blind Side". Okay, those were a while back, but who has time to go to the movies??? |
| Favorite music | I love an assortment of music; variety is the spice of life! |
| Favorite books | In my free time, I enjoy reading. James Patterson has been one of my favorite authors. A little adventure, mystery, and excitement keeps me coming back for more. |
