Introduction	Born and raised in the historic village of Cahokia, Illinois, I fell in love with and married Margaret Ann Skaggs, a Cahokia native who shared my French ancestry. In 1976 our young family migrated to Nashville, Tennessee so I could pursue a songwriting career. It didn't work out as I would have liked although I managed a few cuts as they say in the trade. Margaret worked for and was a close associate of Conway Twitty until his death in 1993 and I retired from an international insurance broker in 1999. I worked for Clinton-Gore campaign in 1992 and 1996 and became a national staff member of the Gore 2000 campaign. In 2004 I served as Tennessee State Coordinator for the Howard Dean campaign. When Margaret died suddenly in June of 2009 I vowed I would dedicate the remainder of my life to keeping her memory alive by whatever means I am able. God knows I loved Margaret more than life itself. Margaret was highly thought of by her family, by Conway, his wife Mickey and everyone who knew her. Her legacy inspires my every thought and action which I strive to keep as honorable as I possibly can.
