Introduction | Here you will find some of my thoughts, musings, and ideas, along with a few images and other things that have attracted my attention. I apologize in advance for my penchant for pontification. I'm a graduate of Temple University with a M-Div from the General Theological Seminary and am an aspirant to Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church. My current home parish is Trinity Church, Portsmouth. Although I'm an Anglo-Catholic who finds himself in Low Church territory I very much like and appreciate parish life at Trinity. I am a member of the Guild of All Souls, and the Society of King Charles the Martyr. While working towards ordination I'm researching and writing. My main project is a history of the Anglican Church in Virginia from its establishment under the London Company in 1607, though its disestablishment as a state church in 1786, and its legal battles into the early 19th century. I'm also beginning what I hope will become a multi-book fiction series involving an Anglo-Catholic priest and his experiences with the paranormal. |
