| Introduction | I am a 'wanna be' textile artist if only time would allow. Machine embroidery is my main interest but I appriciate and like all types of embroidery and textile art. I am fascinated with corsets - the construction, the history, the voluptuousness (is that a word) of them and I love making them. In a previous life I ran a bridal business, designing and making for the whole bridal party. I have now come to that time in my life, where although I enjoyed it at the time, now it's all too much hassle. I am married with 2 dogs - Misty the sheepdog and Lulu the Westie (in the picture as a pup)and 4 cats. We live on a small holding and have a small flock of sheep, which I help with only when I really have to. Also we have 2 holiday cottages which I rent out throughout the year. |
