| Introduction | On the quest to perfection with a herd following along....Hopefully I'm at least going in the right direction! After baby #7 I took up running and started dabbling in triathlon in attempt to retain my sanity, and found a new love. I'm fortunate enough to be married to the most wonderful man...to steal from someone else fond of saying it, "If God would have asked me to design a spouse, I could never have done this well." I'm the mom to ten wild little ones (yes, I know I need to change my header), 4 girls, 6 boys (16, 14, 13, 11, 9, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 4 months), #8 being our little miracle baby Samuel. We found out at our routine mid-pregnancy ultrasound that Samuel had a fairly severe case of hydrocephalus. With an MRI at 30 weeks into pregnancy, his diagnosis was compounded to include numerous brain malformations and a couple of missing structures. He beat the odds to survive to the end of the pregnancy and has blown us all away since the day he was born! |
