Alix Kennedy
| Introduction | My name is Alix. That’s short for Alexandra, but spelled with an i, which is a long story. I have two boys, 12 and 14, and a husband who’s 55. They are Jack, Nick, and James, respectively. They are hungry all the time. We also have two dogs. They are hungry a lot, too. I work fulltime but like to cook anyway, maybe more than ever. Sometimes I think I am just relieved that the boys are at an age where their palates are expanding daily, and James and I don’t have to eat spaghetti with butter any more? I have never been trained as a cook. I wasn’t even a good waitress. For almost 20 years I was a magazine editor (New England Monthly, FamilyFun, Wondertime) and edited and taste-tested more recipes than I can count. I created this blog so I could remember what I was cooking. |
