| Introduction | Hello there! my name is Much ( more than you expected) and i thought it would be a good thing to blog about my interests and activities. first: thanks for reading this, without readers this blog is( almost) pointless :) I have been studying Molecular Biology and now I am into Cognitive Science. Well, that are 2 different worlds you might think in the first place. However, if you consider the mind (partly) as a manifestation of physiological processes(nasty materialism xD), the molecular level would be a good meeting point of body and mind. My working hypothesis is that exactly at the cellular or even molecular level, there are plenty of possibilities for mutual influence and interaction between thoughts and neural activity (such as action potentials). Next winter I will focus my research on the Placebo Effect, building on some interesting suggestions by Ben Goldrace (badscience.net). In my spare time I enjoy nature while doing sports and having a nice time in the mountains if some are in the proximity. Also I like to hang out with my friends, making funny jam sessions or other weird improvisations. So enough said about me, enjoy my blog and leave some comments! Cheers. |
