| Introduction | I have worked in the field of domestic violence and sexual assault for the last 17 years. It has become my passion. I fully agree with Martin Luther King, Jr. that we can never truly be free from oppression until those around us are also free from oppression. My life's ambition is to make a difference to those around me. My favorite historical figures are Mother Theresa, Ghandi, and Martin Luther King, Jr. I admire their consistent efforts to eliminate oppression in our world. |

| Favorite books | Don't laugh...Dr. Seuss. He's my hero. You can never be too old to read his books. Many are full of subliminal messages that are only understood with age. |
