Introduction	Aprilyn began her music studies at 8 yrs old learning piano. At the age of 11 she started clarinet and played both instruments in high school, where she also learned how to play the saxophone. She was accepted into WAAPA in 2005 to complete the Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts - Classical degree with clarinet as her primary instrument till 2007. There, she was under the instrumental tuition of Catherine Cahill. At WAAPA she was involved in various performances such as the Faith Court Orchestra, Wind Orchestra, various chamber groups, Solo performances, Musical/opera productions and performing new works by composers who are also studying at WAAPA. Outside of University she is also involved in the Armadale City Concert Band since 2004 as Associate principle clarinet. In 2006, Aprilyn started instrumental teaching at various schools and music shops teaching Piano, Clarinet and Saxophone. January 2007 she taught herself flute and now teaches beginner flute. 2008 Aprilyn started a Bachelor double degree in music Education. 2009, Aprilyn joined the WA Symphonic Wind Ensemble on Bass Clarinet and is also performing in the WA Charity Orchestra.
