| Introduction | My name is Siobhan, but in the Dominican Republic I am known as Sabrina for many reasons, most of which have to do with the language barrier. This January I will be leaving to live in San Jose de Ocoa for five months while volunteering with ADESJO, an organization I partnered with twice during my college years. My heart has been in the Dominican since I first stepped foot in the mountains, and I am humbled to be able to go back and live in the place where I fell in love with so many things. Follow me as I stumble on this new adventure, and learn life lessons I didn't even know existed. |
