| Introduction | My story isn't all that exciting. It's alot like every other mom's story. I had a life, then I had a baby, and my life completely changed. If you would have told me a year ago that I would be staying at home and taking pride in things like a clean kitchen and a home cooked meal, I would have laughed at you. And then explained to you that it would be a waste of my college education, talent and intelligence to stay at home...it's just not for me. That all changed when this little girl named Riley came along. I fell in love with her crazy hair, goofy toes, and morning smile and somehow that whole argument went out the door. I couldn't picture any job that would be worth giving up my time with her. Fast forward a few months and here I am....staying home, but wondering where to go from here. There is no instruction manual for learning this business, so this blog is my way to complain and rejoice as I learn to love being a stay at home mom. This blog is dedicated to Riley, so that one day she might better understand me and come to know me as someone more than just Mom. |
