| Introduction | I'm Shelley and along with my husband John we run Snapdragon Designs. Snapdragon came about whilst I was still working as a hand bookbinder in London, I decided to try out my handmade books at a few craft fairs. At first sales were pretty poor but we stuck at it and gradually people started to buy my one of a kind books. Meanwhile John became a DT Teacher and gained access to a laser cutter which he used to make me a cat ring, this was the starting point for our entire range of jewellery which you can see now on our website. People liked it and eventually shops did to! Last year we started working with The Natural History Museum and have designed 3 necklaces and a set of rings for them so far, we also worked with Brighton Fashion Week for their Christmas pop up Shop. This year we decided to do our first trade fair which was a great success you can now find our products all over the country and we don't plan on stopping there! |
