Introduction Monica Morris writes from her big old farmhouse in rural Illinois. Her first novel, 'Rory's Song' was published in 2007 and in 2008 she was selected as one of the finalists in the Guidepost Magazine Writers Workshop. She continues to write for Guideposts and Angels on Earth. She is also a member of the Christian Writers Guild and The Next Big Writer website. Recently, she was awarded first prize from The Next Big Writer for her short story entitled 'Blood Will Tell'. Monica is currently doing research for next book, a historical novel that takes place before the Civil War.
