IntroductionCrafting and art are essential to my life - I can't just sit and not have something to do with my hands. My grandmother said I was fidgity as a kid. Needlework was my first foray into crafting and over the years I have always come back to it. I have a degree in art and have taught children's and seniors arts and crafts classes. My home is in a beach town on the northern Gulf coast and I share it with three cats, one nervous red dog and a husband who works offshore. I am very fortunate to have a room mostly all to myself for crafting. The only drawback is that it is also the main entrance from the carport so I need to keep it relatively neat - a very hard thing to maintain for a right brained person. Right now I am bouncing between beading and crochet and thinking about getting back to painting for a bit. I guess I'm a little ADD with my interests.
