| Introduction | I retired from 28 years of school-teaching in May, 2007. I visit my 90 yr. old mother daily in a nursing home. I love to write poetry and children's books. My 1st book is for ages 3-8 and is titled 'Til the Cows Come Home. It is an adorable little book and can be found online at places like amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and other places. You can also ask any major book store chain to order it for you. We have a rescued dog from Dallas. He is a Malti-Poo. His name is Kipper. He is a mess! We love him dearly but will be glad when he outgrows the puppy stage where he wants to chew up EVERYTHING! I have been happily married to my best friend. Roy, for 42 years. We have two children, Jennifer (38) and Roy lll (36) and 5 grandchildren. I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ more than anything and look forward to the day I will be in heaven to spend all eternity with him. |

| Favorite music | Contemporary Christian songs, old timey country songs and gospel music, bluegrass music, ballads that Don Williams and Gordon Lightfoot sing and just a few of the newer country songs. Like the Beatles.I love some classical music, especially good sound tracks to certain movies. Don't like rap songs with nasty words! Don't like new hard rock songs! |
