| Introduction | Joachim Hofmann has a comprehensive background in the consumer electronics and semiconductor industry. He is also into sailing, a hobby pilot (VA and real), and follows scientific progress in quantum physics, neuroscience and artificial intelligence. In addition a number of entrepreneurial ideas, a serious engagement as a (semi) professional photographer, energy saving projects and most recently setting up several photovoltaic plants keep him busy.
