| Introduction | I'd like to thank God, my mother and the Academy....errr wrong place for that, eh? Well I guess I could tell you that I'm charming, sensitive and sweet, but I'd be lying my ass off. I'm your typical parent of a teenaged daughter. Okay, you caught me, I'm not that either. Let's just say I'm a mom that learned many years ago that the trick to survival was humor. Sarcasm also helps. As I venture the world of teenagers and realize that there is no possible way I was THAT hard to handle, I will vent and share my stories here so the rest of the world can laugh at us as well. |
| Interests | The top three would definitely have to be torturing my teenage daughter, avoiding work and sleeping. From time to time I like to try and get into my own bathroom, but I've learned that is a futile effort with a teen in the house. |
| Favorite Movies | I live in the past. I refuse to grow up and admit that I'm the mom with gray hair and an SUV. For that very reason I still drool over Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing and sing along (rather horribly) to Olivia Newton-John in Grease. I do enjoy some current movies, but I actually have Grease in my DVR just so I can watch it whenever I like. I will not enter into middle age easily or willingly. |
| Favorite Music | Music is the one area of life I continue to progress. While I still love the 80's music that stole my heart, I am also pretty up to date on current tunes as well. Yes I just said tunes. I love me some old school Bon Jovi or Def Leppard, but I also like my share of Lady GaGa, Eminem and LMFAO. However, you should know that regardless of what anyone says and how credible they might be, I am NOT the thirty something year old mom that can be seen singing along with Justin Bieber. And I did NOT happen to enjoy his biography/movie. That would be totally weird. |
| Favorite Books | Now books are something I can really enjoy. The problem is that I spend so much of my free time sleeping that I fail to enjoy them quickly. Some favorites are anything by John Grisham and anything by Jodi Picoult. Someday you will all be reading my own bestselling novel and saying "Hey I know her and she's simply Crazee". |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
I have a hate-hate relationship with forks. I eat everything with spoons. Even pizza. I do believe that makes me unique and interesting. others think my meds should be adjusted.
