Introduction	Born and raised in apartheid South Africa during the depression in the Asian ghetto of Pretoria, Mamdoochacha has always understood hardship. He has lived in Tanzania, Texas and Toronto over the last 45 years. Mamdoochacha passed away peacefully after an illness in Feb 2013. His essays will continue to be posted at this site once his son gets a chance to type them up!
