Introduction	I am the mother of 2 boys, engaged to be married, and officially a full time mum! I was, until very recently, an ICT Manager of a large primary school in Middlesbrough, but have given up work to spend time with my family. I am really enjoying baking and cooking at the moment, I got a Kenwood whilst on maternity leave, and love having the time to get in the kitchen and "prat on!" Despite not working, I am still really interested in educational advances in ICT and follow a lot of blogs on this, using web 2.0 tools in the classroom and finding and sharing good resources. I don't want to get too far out of the loop, as I will need to return to work one day, and despite not really knowing what I want to be when I grow up, I think I may end up back in a school somewhere, maybe as a teaching assistant with ICT skills. My boys are now 5 and 1 and one of the things I am most looking forward to is just being a mum, doing the school run and playgroups. (That may change come the bad weather though) but hopefully this blog will allow me to record my experiences, be they baking, playgroups or technological! Thanks for reading it love Alex Xx
