IntroductionMichael Dayne Winkle was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has lived in the same general area ever since. He received a B.A. in English from Oklahoma State University and has worked in institutions such as the University Center at Tulsa and Tulsa Community College. He has had over thirty shorts stories and articles published, including “Wolfhead” (Tales of the Witch World 3, edited by Andre Norton) and “Typo” (Cthulhu’s Heirs, edited by Thomas Stratman). He has two (and a third) books of his own which should be coming out any day now . . .
Interestswriting and reading (about various subjects); science, paleontology, history, Fortean phenomena, science fiction and fantasy literature, Victorian crime and literature, legend, and folklore.
