IntroductionI am a sixty year old grandfather who has diminishing health. I was diagnosed in 2010 with CLL -Chronic Lymphocritic Leukemia, Fortunately a wonder drug (pills) has been developed toallow me to go beyond my shelf life. . For me, the CLL while ever present. Is not a priority. Unfortunately, the collateral damage of the early chemo has killed one kidney- the second operates on 20%; malignant tumors had to be robotically removed from my urethra, and caused a restructure of my bladder... The result is I am extremely fatigued, and within the last six months dropped 70 pounds that was mostly upper body strength. I know that because I actually fell and could not get up. The paramedics lifted me from the bathroom floor. My legs have weakened a great deal and I walk unsteadily- using a cane to keep my balance. I use Ritalin to stay awake- but still find I want a 10 and 2PM naps. I wonder if this is it- the major decline where I will not be able to return or a temporary condition. I mean six months ago I took a five mile bike ride. My emotions get a bit rocky some days, so hold on as we explore the next phase of my life, and I outline my whacky thoughts. God Bless
