| Introduction | I am a Canadian Fibre Artist living in Calgary Alberta. I work primarily with natural fabrics, but particularly with organza and silk for their translucent and reflective qualities, and with felted and knitted wool for sculpture and dimension. I love to create depth with layers of fabric and stitch while physically creating separation between the layers. I am currently experimenting with incorporating more sculptural and e-textile elements into my work. My inspiration comes from the natural beauty of Canada together with ecological and social issues that speak to my heart. |
