| Introduction | Welcome to "Not Quite The Farmer's Daughter"! I am the mom to one growing teenage son and a hard working husband who has an appetite as big as his heart. As I have headed into my forties I have found myself embracing the life of my grandmothers when it comes to staying on a budget and keeping everyone with a happy belly at the same time. My husband and I learned how to can a few years ago and now we have a large garden and mature fruit trees that we are taking advantage of every season.
