| Introduction | For over 30 years, I was a working musician playing across the U.S. Earned a degree in Voice, and was offered recording contracts by major labels on three occasions but had to pass because I have MS and couldn't stand the rigors of touring. Began working as a voice actress in commercials when I was 14, and later hosted a Classic Country radio show. After my son was born, I felt I should get a 'real' job so went back to college for a degree in Abnormal Psychology, but after 4.5 yrs working in the forensic unit of a state psychiatric hosp., I realized I was better suited for the life of a poverty-stricken musician. After my health issues forced me into a wheelchair, I retired from performing and turned my focus to writing. I published my first poem while a senior in h.s., and have published numerous short non-fiction stories over the years. Recently, I completed my first novel and am currently editing it in preparation for submission. |
