| Introduction | Age 47, divorced, gay. I have a beautiful 22 year old daughter (a stylist in Weston, WV). I'm just discovering who I really am, rather, who I can be, (proof it's NEVER too late) My favorite quote: "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." (George Bernard Shaw) In June 2007, I graduated from Washington State Community College (yes, my first time as a college graduate) with an AAS in Social Service Technologies. I have worked at EVE, Inc., a domestic violence shelter, since that time. It's my privilege to serve on the committee for the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series at Washington State. (See EVE & EAHS in links section.) Since February 2007, I've been blessed to share life with the most amazing, wonderful, kind, loving, and handsome man. After dating for a few months, we decided that we no longer wanted to live in separate places, so in August we moved into a house just outside Athens. One of our favorite things about it is the fact that there's a great vegetable garden space & room for lots of flowers. Chintu, 30, born in Kerala, India, has lived in Athens since 2004. A medical doctor in India, he is now pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at OU. |
