| Introduction | http://www.kimlayton.com Kim Layton was born and raised in Detroit Michigan in a family of twelve children. She is a Mother of three Sons and Grandmother of five Grand daughters. Kim's inspiration for art was nurtured and encouraged by her Father, a portrait Artist and graphic Designer. Kim says that when painting Angels, her spirit is relaxed and in tune with Holy Spirit. Kim says, "When I ask the Holy Spirit to come and paint through me the Holy Spirit creates the best paintings. I love to celebrate the God-given gift and share it with others." Kim has facilitated art therapy workshops for teen girls in recovery.This type of artistic modality, releases emotions on a subconscious level, allows the client to "be in the moment" while experiencing self expression on the canvass. |
