| Introduction | Quinn Smythwood—author by night—has been having an affair with words for a long, long time. He first fell in love with fantasy at a young age and has since gone on to become obsessed with urban fantasies. While his white collar, non-fiction, day job wins him his bread and butter, he’d much rather be living on the cusp, between reality and the infinite realms of possibility. This is why his appointment diary sometimes includes entries about witches, vampires and werewolves… He lives among a thousand hills, quite close to the ocean in a part of the world where every day is summer. Aside from sharing space with figments of his imagination, he shares a home with his better half and a Norse god disguised as a sleek grey cat. He has stories in the anthologies Queer Wolf, Blood Fruit, Hellebore and Rue and Zombiality as well as in forthcoming publications and is working on plans to take his affair to the next level. |
