| Introduction | I've long been interested in all aspects of food - farm and home food production and consumption rights; the pleasure of experimenting in the kitchen; the satisfaction I feel watching my husband or guests run their fingers over their plates repeatedly to get every last smidgen of an essence of the meal. I am fascinated with food's affect on human and animal health. Apparently in a midlife crisis, I not only converted to Judaism after years of wanting to, but also returned to college to get a degree in nursing.
