| Introduction | I, Mariko, am a 66 year old, retired primary and secondary teacher who is of Japanese ancestry. I was born in Canada, attended university in the U.S. and Canada, and have lived in Latin America and Asia, as well as in the U.S. I met my husband, Franklin, while at university, and we have two children. Most recently, we lived in Hong Kong, where I taught English in a primary school. I retired from teaching this past July, and my husband and I moved back to the U.S. in August (2009). My purpose in setting up this blog is to share any information we have uncovered about MSA in our search for answers. In the process, I'm hoping we can learn together.
